Local-first sorting progress

Rvix

Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Rvix handles information while you sort everyday items, unlock Collection entries, manage Coins and Shop cosmetics, and optionally use Reference Lab, Sound Studio, or Voice Journal. Rvix does not require registration or sign-in.

On-device game memory

Scores, Combos, Daily Challenge status, unlocks, difficulty preference, sound/haptics toggles, and Coin balances are stored locally in the app sandbox.

Optional device sensors

Camera, photo library, and microphone access are requested only when you open Reference Lab or recording tools that need them.

Tracking prompt

On supported iOS versions, Rvix may show the system App Tracking Transparency dialog before related measurement features run.

Signals the sorting experience may rely on

Depending on how you play, Rvix may process:

  • Gameplay records such as stage clears, accuracy-related outcomes, Combo streaks, mode and difficulty choices, theme progress, achievement progress, and Coin transactions for cosmetics.
  • Preference flags for sound effects, haptics, and default difficulty.
  • Reference Lab images you capture or pick, plus category tags you assign for Flash Practice.
  • Audio files you create in Sound Studio or Voice Journal.
  • If you authorize tracking, coarse interaction signals (for example how often stages are cleared and which features you open) and advertising identifiers made available by the operating system, used to improve interface clarity, reminders, and feature quality as described in the system prompt.
  • Technical context the OS provides for ordinary app operation (device model class, OS version, locale formatting, and crash or diagnostic information Apple may surface to developers through standard channels).

Rvix is not built around collecting contact lists, precise continuous location, health records, or payment card details inside the sorting experience.

Why those signals are processed

  • To run Home, Level Select, Play, Result, Collection, Shop, Achievements, and Daily Challenge as designed.
  • To remember unlocks and cosmetics after you leave a session.
  • To support optional on-device practice with photos and custom audio.
  • To honor Settings controls, including Reset Progress.
  • Where tracking authorization is granted, to refine product experience using coarse usage signals consistent with the App Tracking Transparency disclosure.
  • To respond to messages you send to our contact address and to meet relevant regulatory requirements.

Permissions you can allow or deny

  • Camera. Used when you capture tidy-space or household-item references for Reference Lab practice. Captures support recognizing everyday items by look and use.
  • Photo library. Used when you choose existing reference shots for personal practice sets.
  • Microphone. Used for Sound Studio custom game cues and optional Voice Journal memos after clearing stages.
  • Tracking. Presented through Apple's App Tracking Transparency flow. Declining keeps related cross-app tracking identifiers from being used for that purpose.

You can change permission decisions later in iOS Settings. Denying a permission disables the features that need it; core drag-and-drop sorting remains available.

Where information stays and how it moves

Progress and preference files are written under the app's local storage area (including a dedicated persistence folder for Codable game state). Reference photos and recordings you create are intended to remain on the device and are not uploaded by the sorting tools themselves for public sharing.

Opening legal documents or About content may load pages in an in-app web view. That viewing may involve ordinary network retrieval of the document you select. Separately, if tracking-related measurement is active after authorization, identifiers and coarse interaction signals may be transmitted in line with that feature's purpose and applicable platform rules.

Rvix does not operate a mandatory cloud save account for scores or Collection unlocks.

Third parties and system surfaces

Device pickers (camera, photo library, microphone) and the App Tracking Transparency dialog are provided by Apple. Their handling of system prompts follows Apple's policies. We do not sell your personal information. We may share information when required by applicable laws, to protect the app or users from abuse or security incidents, or with service partners who process data only to help operate features you use, under appropriate safeguards.

Care we take with stored files

We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate for a mobile puzzle app, such as relying on iOS sandbox isolation and careful handling of local files. No method of electronic storage or transmission is perfectly secure, and we cannot promise that unauthorized access will never occur.

How long records remain

Local gameplay and preference data remain until you delete them with Reset Progress, remove individual Reference Lab or audio items inside those tools, or uninstall the app. Correspondence you send by email is kept only as long as needed to respond and to satisfy relevant regulatory requirements.

Choices available to you

  • Refuse or later revoke camera, photo, microphone, or tracking permissions.
  • Delete individual reference photos or recordings inside the related screens when those delete actions are offered.
  • Use Reset Progress in Settings (after confirmation) to clear stored sorting progress, unlocks, and related local game state.
  • Uninstall Rvix to remove the app sandbox from your device.
  • Email nestcue@rvixsort.studio with privacy requests we can reasonably fulfill for information under our control.

Children

Rvix offers casual sorting play without account creation. We do not knowingly solicit personal information from children for profiles or marketing lists. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us through email or another channel we control, contact us and we will take appropriate steps under applicable laws.

Policy updates

We may revise this Privacy Policy when features, permissions, or legal expectations change. The revised text will be made available in the app or through the same distribution path used for legal documents. Material changes take effect when posted unless a later date is stated.
